Overview
The 045 General Training provides the essential foundation for the safe use of diisocyanates in the workplace and fulfils the general training requirement under the REACH Regulation.
Since August 2023, adequate training is a legal requirement for professional and industrial users of diisocyanates with a monomer concentration above 0.1%. This live online session introduces the regulatory framework and delivers the core knowledge needed to understand hazards, risks and safe handling measures.
The General Training gives participants the fundamental principles of safe use. However, to be fully compliant with REACH legislation, workers must also be certified for the training level that is most relevant to their specific use of products containing diisocyanates within their company.
